Haylee couldn’t remember the last time she had allowed herself to drift off to sleep. Her recurring nightmares had become too gruesome and life like to allow her to sleep more than an hour at a time and she was beginning to feel as if it was better to just keep herself awake rather than get a few broken hours of sleep. Her days were beginning to blend together and no matter how much caffeine she took in her small body she couldn’t make herself focus on much of anything. The crash was inevitable, no matter how much she wanted to avoid it.
Yawning, Haylee looked down at the hyperactive puppy that was currently yipping at her from his spot on the floor. A smile graced her lips as she set aside her school books, deciding it was a perfect chance to take a break from the large amount of school work she had immersed herself in. It was the best distraction from the images that tried to creep their way into her thoughts. However, after being at it for nearly three hours the brunette was beginning to feel herself start to doze off. Something that she wanted to avoid completely for as long as she could. “You need to go out, little man?” she asked with a smile, moving from her seat on the couch and patting her leg so the puppy would follow her.
After making sure Odysseus’ leash was connected to the collar he wore, Haylee led the small dog outside of her apartment. She hadn’t realized it when she was studying but the sky had fallen dark, the inky black surrounding her and causing her to feel uncomfortable. Paranoia hadn’t been something she’d felt in months, not since coming to Elysium and learning that the men that had targeted her family had been taken care of. However, as she walked down the seemingly deserted street the girl could feel someone watching her. Glancing around nervously, Haylee silently urged Odysseus to finish his business so they could both get back to the safety of her own apartment.
As she hurried the dog on, images flashed in her mind. The police officers that had taken her and Jake in Tennessee smirked at her as she rushed towards her home, the feel of the too tight handcuffs around her wrists, the feel of too hot breath on the back of her neck as she was threatened when she didn’t give any information on her brother. The sensory assault was too much for her and she could feel the beginnings of a panic attack start as she moved ever closer to her apartment.
With her breaths coming in short gasps, Haylee managed to throw open the door to her home, ushering the small dog inside and slamming the door shut behind them. She could feel herself shaking, almost as if there was a thousands bugs crawling underneath her skin and causing it to vibrate, as she leaned against the door and slowly slid down it. Taking deep breaths, the brunette felt herself calming down, the adrenaline fading from her body as well as the tension. Feeling Odysseus climb his way into her lap, Haylee subconsciously ran a hand through the puppy’s short hair.
The motion was repetitive and Haylee could feel extreme drowsiness come over her as she sat on the floor. Not having the energy to move she slumped farther down, her eyelids drooping heavily as she struggled to keep herself awake. However, as she began losing the battle with her consciousness she found that the usual images weren’t flashing in the forefront of her mind. It was nothing more than a low buzz, more like a white noise, and she found it to be comforting.
Slowly continuing the motion of petting the small dog’s head, Haylee felt herself drift off. Her world becoming nothing but a sea of black as her head fell back against the door behind her and her fight with staying awake was lost.
Hi. Hello. It’s been a long time. This was a self para I wrote for one of my characters in the RP I joined. I’m posting this here because I do believe the RP is closing soon and I would like to keep my selfies because I put a lot of time and effort into them.
Warning: Putting under a read more for possible trigger warnings. There is mention of self inflicted burning and if that bothers you I urge you not to read it.
This was supposed to be where I was posting all my shit for NaNoWriMo, but as you can see I didn’t get very far. My muse left me and I ended up joining an RP to try and get it back. Needless to say it never returned.
While I’ll still be using this to post bits and pieces of my own writing, it won’t be updated often. I’ll mainly be using it to keep track of playlists for my writing and letting out frustrations that have to do with writing and my lack of motivation or muse.
That is all.

**I actually wrote more than what I’m posting at the moment but this is the first chapter and the rest of what I have written is part of the second chapter.**
It’s officially November here. Be expecting a post at some point later in the day. Probably a couple hours after I get off work.
I’ve made my sister my whip cracker. Every time she sees me she has to make sure I’m writing and that I achieve around 2,500-3,500 words per day. She’s already off to a good start by forcing me to choose just one idea instead of writing on both of the ideas I had.
Slowly but surely some of my other works will begin appearing on here. I’m hoping to have this blog fully functioning by the end of the month.
Good luck to all fellow Wrimo’s!
Ok so I’m gonna start actually posting shit on this at the beginning of November to coincide with NaNoWriMo.
So yeah. Until then toodaloo
